Eni has expressed satisfaction with the recent decision by the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition to withdraw the unitisation directives related to the Sankofa oil field, initially issued in 2020.

This move aligns with the government’s broader objectives of fostering a conducive environment for sustainable energy investments.

In response, Eni has reiterated its commitment to leveraging its diverse portfolio of innovative projects, aiming to seize new opportunities across both traditional and transition energy sectors.

The company also emphasised its dedication to bolstering domestic energy security and sustainability.

This renewed focus on investment and innovation is expected to drive significant progress in Ghana’s energy landscape, ensuring long-term benefits for the nation’s development.
