The running mate of NPP, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, on Wednesday rounded off the second round of his Ashanti Regional campaign tour.

The highly successful tour has ruffled the feathers of the opposition NDC as they struggle to contain the energy Dr Premoeh, a.k.a. Napo had brought into the campaign of the ruling party.

Ashanti Region votes hold key to the NPP’s success in the upcoming elections, and already, Napo has expressed confidence that the party can achieve its ambitious target of securing 85% of the votes in the region with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as presidential candidate.

While in the region he visited constituencies including Offinso South, Offinso North, Bekwai, New Edubiase and Odotobri.

Voting number 1
Addressing various durbars and other engagements, the running mate said voting Bawumia, who is the first on the ballot paper means voting to safeguard our collective future.

Napo was delighted that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s vision for Ghana’s future, grounded in bold and creative solutions to tackle the country’s challenges, continues to resonate strongly with people from all walks of life. “We will continue to emphasize the stark contrast between our record and that of the opposition,” he stated.

He urged the people to continue to repose massive confidence in Dr Bawumia , describing him as the man who holds the key to Ghana’s participation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution for our collective prosperity. “A future Bawumia presidency will create an enabling environment for community mining schemes, as part of efforts to formalize, regularize, and regulate environmentally sustainable small-scale mining,” he said.

Voting NPP
At Edubiase, the chief, Oguahyia Oduro Panin Birikoran, questioned the sincerity of John Mahama to the development education.

The chief said he cannot risk the future of his children by voting for a leader who does not believe in free SHS. “This is one of the many reasons why Ghanaians must vote for the NPP to continue with the free SHS policy,” he explained.
